Spelling Bee Results

Ok, so Caleb won 4th place at the spelling bee. Out of 54 kids, 4 were homeschoolers, and 2nd and 4th place both went to homeschooled kids. Awesome, no?! 3rd went to and IDVA student (public school at home program) and first went to a girl from a Christian school. Maybe you'll get to DC next year Caleb!

Kinda Bored...

I'm not felling well today, so I'm at home while everyone else is a chapel and 4H. The house is so quiet when its just me and the dogs. Its funny, at my dad's house I'm home alone a lot and don't really notice it. Thats just how it is when I'm there. But here... the house seems so weird and empty.

My little bro Caleb was on the radio today. The regional spelling bee is tomorrow and the radio station wanted to interveiw some contestants. There are 54 competing kids and only 2 were interviewed. I could tell he was nervous but he did well. I have to work tomorrow and so I can't be there but I am praying he does well. If he wins, he goes on to Washington DC.

Hooray!!! I finally got a home-made blog header put together and posted!! its not the best, but i like it. Now I have my own blog, not just one for Alamo!
